सिरसा 19 जनवरी – अमर शहीद हुकम चन्द जैन द्वारा देश के लिए दिए गए बलिदान के लिए हम सदा उन्हें याद करते रहेंगे और देश प्रेम से प्रेरित उनके कार्यों से प्रेरणा लेते हुए कार्य करेंगे। यह बात आज शहीद हुकम चन्द जैन के 164वें शहीदी दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित शहीद दिवस समारोह को सम्बोधित करते हुए कार्यक्रम के बतौर मुख्य अतिथि हरियाणा प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के प्रदेश महामंत्री नवीन केडिया ने कही। अग्रवाल वैश्य समाज के संयोजन में प्रदेशभर में जिला स्तर पर मनाए जा रहे शहीदी दिवस के अन्तर्गत आज सिरसा के महाराजा अग्रसेन पार्क में सन्नी बांसल केे संयोजन में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में सर्वप्रथम महाराजा अग्रसेन जी महाराज की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण किया गया। इसके उपरान्त सिरसा विधानसभा युवा इकाई व नगरपार्षद कौशल्या वर्मा ने कोरोना महामारी से बचाव हेतु मास्क का वितरण किया।
ज्ञात रहे अग्रवाल वैश्य समाज के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष अशोक बुवानीवाला के मार्गदर्शन में हरियाणा के इस महान सपूत की वीरगाथा को आज की नई पीढ़ी तक पहुंचाने के लिए इतने बड़े स्तर पर प्रदेश के हर जिले में कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए हैं। हांसी में जन्मे 1857 की क्रांति के महानायक शहीद हुकम चन्द जैन को उनके 164वें शहीदी दिवस पर नमन करते हुए हम खुद को गौरवान्वित महसूस कर रहे हैं, कि उनका शहीदी दिवस देशभर में मनाया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि 29 मई 1857 को लाला हुकम चन्द जैन के नेतृत्व में जनता ने अंग्रेजी शासन के खिलाफ बगावत का झंडा बुलंद किया गया था। हांसी की लाल सडक़ देश की आजादी के लिए यहां के वीरों द्वारा दी गई कुर्बानियों की साक्षी है। प्रदेश के स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के बलिदान और शोर्य गाथाओं को अमर रखने के लिए आज हम देश के इस वीर योद्धा को नमन करते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के इतिहास में वैश्य समाज के योगदान को भुलाया नहीं जा सकता। अनेक वैश्य क्रांतिकारियों ने अंग्रेजों के विरूद्ध तन-मन-धन से लोहा लिया और देश की आजादी में अपना महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया। स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में हरियाणा के योगदान की बात होगी, तब शहीद हुकम चन्द जैन का नाम हमेशा अग्रिम पंक्ति में लिया जाएगा। उनका जीवन हम सब के लिए एक प्रेरणा है, जो आने वाली पीढिय़ों का मार्गदर्शन करता रहेगा। इस अवसर पर डा० कुलदीप गुप्ता डा०, कपिल गुप्ता, सन्नी बांसल, आशु बांसल, कुलदीप गर्ग, सुनील सिंगला, अरूण सिंगला, अशोक बांसल, आशीष बांसल, कीर्ति गर्ग, आकाश चाचाण, आकाश गुप्ता, हर्ष बांसल, जानु मित्तल, अरूण बांसल सहित अन्य गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित थे।
