उत्तराखंड देहरादून में काँग्रेस कमेटी के प्रवक्ता मेहरा धसौनी ने जहरीली शराब से हुई मौत से आक्रोश होकर सरकार पर तीखा प्रहार किया :-उत्तराखंड प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी की प्रवक्ता गरिमा मेहरा दसोनी ने रुड़की में जहरीली शराब के सेवन से हुई मौतों पर गहरा शोक व्यक्त करते हुए राज्य सरकार पर तीखा प्रहार किया । गरिमा दसोनी ने कहा कि तेरह अफसरों का निलंबन ना काफी है आबकारी मंत्री को स्वयं इस प्रकरण के चलते इस्तीफा देना चाहिए ।गरिमा दसोनी ने कहा कि शराब को हतोत्साहित करने वाले लोग आज घर-घर मोबाइल वैन से दारु बेचने के साथ-साथ धर्मनगरीयों में दारू की दुकानें खोलने तक का कुकृत्य कर रही है।यही नही पूर्ववर्ती कांग्रेस सरकार से लगभग 120 दुकाने ज्यादा खोल चुकी त्रिवेंद्र सरकार आज पूरी तरह शराब माफिया के सामने घुटने टेक चुकी है।प्रदेश में शराबबंदी को लेकर जब मातृशक्ति आंदोलनरत होकर सड़कों पर उतरी तो इसी त्रिवेंद्र सरकार ने उन्हें जेलों में ठूसने का तथा उन पर मुकदमा कायम करने का काम किया ।दसोनी ने चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि आज उत्तराखंड पंजाब के बाद दूसरा ऐसा प्रदेश बनता जा रहा है जो नशाखोरी के चपेट में है इसके लिए राज्य सरकार की उदासीनता जिम्मेदार है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि आज राज्य के अंदर सरकार पूरी तरह से शराब माफिया के शिकंजे में है लगातार शराब ओवर रेटिंग में बिक रही है और कालाबाजारी के चलते हरियाणा चंडीगढ़ और आसपास के प्रदेशों की शराब का बोलबाला राज्य में हो रहा है जिस पर कोई भी रोक नहीं लगाई जा रही है और ना ही कोई प्रतिबंध। सरकार और शराब माफिया की सांठगांठ के चलते खामियाजा उत्तराखंड की गरीब जनता को भुगतना पड़ रहा है गरिमादसोनी ने मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र रावत से पुरजोर शब्दों में मृतकों के परिजनों को उचित मुआवजा देने की मांग की है।
