कोरोना के बढ़ते संक्रमण को देखते हुए नौ अगस्त को प्रस्तावित राज्य स्तरीय संयुक्त बीएड प्रवेश परीक्षा का विरोध शुरू हो गया है। यह परीक्षा लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा कराई जाने वाली है। शिक्षकों व महाविद्यालयों के संगठन परीक्षा का विरोध कर रहे हैं। लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय संबद्ध महाविद्यालय शिक्षक संघ (लुआक्टा) ने तो परीक्षा निरस्त कर मेरिट के आधार पर प्रवेश देने के लिए उप मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. दिनेश शर्मा को ज्ञापन भी दिया है। प्रवेश परीक्षा में हिस्सा लेने के लिए 4.31 लाख अभ्यर्थियों ने आवेदन किया है। कई संगठनों का कहना है कि एक तरफ तो प्रदेश सरकार ने 31 अगस्त को सभी विद्यालय बंद रखते हुए आनलाइन शिक्षण कार्य करने आदेश कर रखा है दो दूसरी तरफ इतनी बड़ी संख्या में विद्यार्थियों को परीक्षा केंद्रों पर बुलाकर परंपरागत तरीके से परीक्षा कराने का फैसला किया है। इतना ही नहीं कोरोना संक्रमण के कारण ही विश्वविद्यालयों की अंतिम वर्ष की परीक्षाएं तक नहीं कराई जा रही हैं। उत्तर प्रदेश स्ववित्तपोषित महाविद्यालय एसोसिएशन ने पहले ही परीक्षा का विरोध करते हुए उप मुख्यमंत्री को ज्ञापन दिया था। लुआक्टा के अध्यक्ष डॉ. मनोज पांडेय व महामंत्री डॉ. अंशु केडिया ने उप मुख्यमंत्री को ज्ञापन देकर कहा है कि परीक्षार्थियों को परीक्षा केंद्र तक छोड़ने आने वाले अभिभावकों की संख्या को मिलाकर संख्या 10 लाख के आसपास तक पहुंच जाएगी। परीक्षा केंद्रों के निर्धारण में केवल राजकीय एवं सहायता प्राप्त विद्यालयों व महाविद्यालयों को ही केंद्र बनाया गया है। ऐसे विद्यालय प्रदेश में अधिसंख्य स्थानों पर शहर के बीच और भीड़भाड़ वाले इलाकों में हैं। ऐसे में केंद्रों पर कोविड-19 के प्रोटोकॉल का पालन किया जाना संभव नहीं हो पाएगा। ज्ञापन में यह भी कहा गया है कि विगत वर्षों के परिणामों को यदि देखा जाए तो प्रवेश के लिए आवंटित सारी सीटें नहीं भर पाती हैं। सीटों को भरने के लिए दूसरी और तीसरी बार काउंसिलिंग करनी पड़ रही है। इस कारण भी प्रवेश परीक्षा का कोई बहुत औचित्य नहीं है। उचित होगा कि इस वर्ष मेरिट के आधार पर प्रवेश ले लिया जाए।(UNA)
