कोलकाता, राज्यपाल जगदीप धनखड़ ने शहीद जवान सुबोध घोष के अंतिम संस्कार में भाजपा सांसद जगन्नाथ सरकार को शामिल होने से पुलिस द्वारा रोके जाने की घटना की कड़ी निंदा की है। 24 साल के सुबोध घोष कश्मीर के सीमा इलाके में पाक सैनिकों द्वारा युद्धविराम का उल्लंघन करते हुए की गई फायरिंग में शहीद हो गए थे। वे भारतीय सेना में आर्टिलरी डिवीजन में तैनात थे। उनके पार्थिव शरीर को भारतीय सेना की तरफ से प्रोटोकॉल का पालन करते हुए नदिया जिले के तेहट्ट थाना इलाके के रघुनाथपुर स्थित उनके घर लाया गया था और पास स्थित एक मैदान में श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए रखा गया था।
भाजपा सांसद जगन्नाथ सरकार भी श्रद्धांजलि देने पहुंचे थे लेकिन पुलिस ने उन्हें रोक दिया। पुलिस की तरफ से रोके जाने की कोई वाजिब वजह भी नहीं बताई गई। इस कारण जगन्नाथ सरकार शहीद जवान को श्रद्धांजलि नहीं दे पाए। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि जनता के सामने उनका अपमान करने के लिए पुलिस ने जान-बूझकर ऐसा किया था। श्रद्धांजलि देने तृणमूल कांग्रेस की सांसद महुआ मैत्र, नदिया के डीएम पार्थ घोष, कृष्णानगर पीडी के एसपी विश्वजीत घोष के अलावा अन्य विशिष्टजन पहुंचे थे।
राज्यपाल ने कहा-‘मुझे जो जानकारी मिली है, उसके मुताबिक सांसद को पुलिस और प्रशासन की तरफ से राजनीतिक इशारे पर रोका गया। मैं उनसे अनुरोध करूंगा कि वे राजनीति से प्रेरित होकर काम न करें।’ इसके साथ ही राज्यपाल ने राज्य प्रशासन से इस मामले की जांच करने को भी कहा।
राज्यपाल ने पुलिसकर्मियों को संबोधित करते हुए आगे कहा-‘मुझे सच में नहीं पता कि आपकी तरफ से क्या बाध्यता थी लेकिन खाकी वर्दी पहनने वालों की तरफ से इस तरह का बर्ताव गवर्नेंस की चिंता करने वालों को हिलाकर रख देने वाला है।(UNA)
