जनपद में दो कोरोना पॉजिटिव मामले पाए गए, 01 अप्रैल को 16 लोग ऐसे चिन्हित किए गए थे ,जो बड़ी मस्जिद में रह रहे थे और निजामुद्दीन दिल्ली की जमात में शामिल होकर के जौनपुर महामना एक्सप्रेस से 14 मार्च को आए थे। इन 16 लोगों में 14 बांग्लादेश के थे एक पश्चिम बंगाल का था और एक रांची का था।सभी 16 लोगों की रिपोर्ट आ गई है जिसमें 2 लोगों की रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव है। एक बांग्लादेशी है इस्माइल हुसैन जिनकी उम्र लगभग 21 वर्ष दूसरे यासीन अंसारी यह रांची के रहने वाले उम्र लगभग 68 साल है जिनके पॉजिटिव रिपोर्ट आई है ।उनको जिला अस्पताल में भर्ती करके इलाज प्रारंभ कर दिया गया है। दिनेश कुमार सिह जिलाधिकारी जौनपुर
