बेंगलुरु, पीएसएलवी- सी51/अमेजोनिया-1 मिशन को आंध्र प्रदेश में श्रीहरिकोटा के सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र से प्रक्षेपित करने के लिए उल्टी गिनती शनिवार को शुरू हो गई। भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन ने यहां एक बयान में बताया कि पीएसएलवी-सी51 पीएसएलवी का 53वां मिशन है। इस रॉकेट के जरिए ब्राजील के अमेजोनिया-1 उपग्रह के साथ 18 अन्य उपग्रह भी अंतरिक्ष में भेजे जाएंगे। इस रॉकेट को चेन्नई से करीब 100 किलोमीटर दूर श्रीहरिकोटा से प्रक्षेपित किया जाएगा। इस रॉकेट को प्रक्षेपित करने का समय 28 फरवरी सुबह 10 बजकर 24 मिनट है जो मौसम की स्थिति पर निर्भर करता है। उल्टी गिनती सुबह आठ बजकर 54 मिनट पर शुरू हो गई। पीएसएलवी (पोलर सैटेलाइट लॉन्च व्हीकल) सी51/अमेजोनिया-1 इसरो की वाणिज्य इकाई न्यूस्पेस इंडिया लिमिटेड (एनएसआईएल) का पहला समर्पित वाणिज्यिक मिशन है। अमेजोनिया-1 के बारे में बयान में बताया गया है कि यह उपग्रह अमेज़न क्षेत्र में वनों की कटाई की निगरानी और ब्राजील के क्षेत्र में विविध कृषि के विश्लेषण के लिए उपयोगकर्ताओं को दूरस्थ संवेदी आंकड़े मुहैया कराएगा तथा मौजूदा ढांचे को और मजबूत बनाएगा।
