सेंट्रल क्राइम ब्रांच (सीसीबी) ने जी श्रीकृष्णा उर्फ श्रीकी नाम के हैकर और ड्रग्स का धंधा करने वाले शख्स से 31 बिटकॉइन बरामद की हैं। इनकी कीमत 9 करोड़ रुपये बताई जा रही है। श्रीकृष्णा को सीसीबी पुलिस ने नवंबर में अरेस्ट किया था।
पुलिस को पूछताछ के दौरान रॉबिन खांडेलवाल नाम के एक बिटकॉइन ट्रेडर का पता चला था। उसी ने बिटकॉइन खरीदने में श्रीकृष्णा की मदद की थी। पुलिस ने खांडेलवाल को भी अरेस्ट कर लिया है।
सीसीबी पुलिस ने बताया कि श्रीकृष्णा हवाला ट्रेडिंग करता था और भारतीय करंसी को बिटकॉइंस में बदलता था। 18 नवंबर को पुलिस ने श्रीकृष्णा को कई आरोपों में अरेस्ट किया। इनमें नशे की खरीद फरोख्त और ड्रग्स लेने के अलावा प्राइवेट और सरकारी वेबसाइटों में हैक करना भी शामिल था। वह अगस्त 2019 में एक सरकारी ई-प्रॉक्योरमेंट पोर्टल से 11 करोड़ रुपये चुराने के मामले में मुख्य आरोपी भी है। क्या होती है बिटकॉइन
