मानव जीवन की सुरक्षा के लिये सड़क सुरक्षा के सघन प्रयास जरूरी
डी.आई.जी. श्री चौधरी की अध्यक्षता में हुई सड़क सुरक्षा समिति की बैठक
उप पुलिस महानिरीक्षक श्री धर्मेन्द्र चौधरी ने आजपी.टी.आर.आई. में सड़क सुरक्षा समिति के नोडल अधिकारियों की बैठक में कहा कि मानव जीवन की सुरक्षा के लिये सड़क सुरक्षा के सघन प्रयास जरूरी हैं। सड़क सुरक्षा के लिये विभिन्न विभागों के प्रयासों से अगर एक भी मानव जीवन बचता है तो यह पुण्य का काम होगा। श्री चौधरी ने स्कूल और कॉलेजों में सड़क सुरक्षा संबंधी शिविर आयोजित कर युवाओं को जागरूक बनाने की आवश्यकता बताई।
श्री चौधरी ने बैठक मे ब्लैक स्पॉट, बजट, लाइसेंस निरस्तीकरण, ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में दुर्घटनाओं की अधिकता जैसे महत्वपूर्ण बिन्दुओं पर चर्चा के दौरान कहा कि संबंधित विभाग अपनी जिम्मेदारियों का तत्परता से निर्वहन करें जिससे सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रयासों के अच्छे परिणाम दिखने लगें। श्री चौधरी ने कहा कि विभागों को जिन बिन्दुओं पर कार्यवाही करना है, त्वरित गति से करें। उन्होंने बताया कि सड़क सुरक्षा के लिये जन-जागरूकता के प्रयास निरंतर किये जा रहे हैं।
बैठक में राज्य सड़क सुरक्षा क्रियान्वयन समिति और मध्यप्रदेश राज्य सड़क सुरक्षा परिषद् के निर्देशों के अनुरूप अन्य महत्वपूर्ण विषयों और सुझावों पर भी चर्चा की गई। इस मौके पर सहायक पुलिस महानिरीक्षक श्री प्रशांत शर्मा सहित संबंधित विभागों के नोडल अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
