उत्तर पश्चिम सुरक्षित सीट से भाजपा के सांसद हंसराज हंस से महिलाओं का एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने मुलाकात कर बढ़ती महंगाई पर चिंता प्रकट किया और मांग की कि संसद में इस बाबत आवाज उठाएं।
उत्तर-पश्चिम लोक सभा क्षेत्र की महिलाओं के इस प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व मंजू कुमार ने किया। मंजू कुमार कांग्रेस की रोहिणी जिला अध्यक्ष भी हैं। अपने क्षेत्र के तमाम सामाजिक और राजनीतिक कार्यों में सदैव तत्पर रहने वाली मंजू कुमार ने अपने क्षेत्र के जनप्रतिनिधियों और प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों से जनता की समस्याओं को लेकर मिलती रहती हैं।
मंजू कुमारी के साथ गई महिलाओं ने बढ़ती महंगाई की मार से जनता जिन मुसीबतों से जूझ रही है, सांसद हंसराज हंस से को सुनाया और इसको लेकर पार्लियामेंट में आवाज उठाने की बात की। सांसद हंस ने बहुत गंभीरता से प्रतिनिधिमंडल की बात सुनी और बताया कि बढ़ती महंगाई से हमें भी बहुत चिंता है। रसोई गैस से लेकर हर जरूरी वस्तुओं के दाम आसमान छू रहे हैं, आमदनी में लगातार गिरावट भी हो रही है, ऐसे में निम्नमध्यवर्ग और गरीबों को दो जून की रोटी के लिए चिंता सता रही है।
मंजू कुमार ने बताया कि जिस तेजी से रसोई गैस की कीमतों में इजाफा हुआ है, मजबूर होकर लकड़ी के चूल्हे पर खाना बनाना पड़ रहा है। इसलिए महिलाओं ने लकड़ी चूल्हा हंसराज हंस को भेंट किया।

सांसद हंसराज हंस ने आश्वासन दिया कि संसद में और सरकार को इस मामले में ना केवल अवगत कराऊंगा, बल्कि महंगाई पर तत्काल अंकुश लगाने के लिए प्रभावी कदम उठाने के लिए भी बोलूंगा।
मंजू कुमार ने बताया कि क्षेत्र की जनता की समस्याओं को लेकर संघर्ष जारी रहेगा और कांग्रेस की ओर से महंगाई के खिलाफ जारी अभियान को अपने क्षेत्र में घर घर तक पहुंचाया जाएगा।
