रांची : झारखंड में हर साल हजारों बच्चे और लड़कियां मानव तस्करी का शिकार हो रही हैं. लेकिन, अब झारखंड के भोले-भाले लोगों को बहला-फुसलाकर मानव तस्करी करने वालों की खैर नहीं. सूबे की हेमंत सोरेन सरकार ने ह्यूमन ट्रैफिकिंग में लिप्त लोगों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई का रास्ता साफ कर दिया है. सोमवार (24 अगस्त, 2020) को मुख्यमंत्री ने एंटी ह्यूमन ट्रैफिकिंग यूनिट के गठन को मंजूरी दे दी है.
अब राज्य के लातेहार, साहिबगंज, गोड्डा और गिरिडीह में एंटी ह्यूमन ट्रैफिकिंग यूनिट (AHTU) के गठन संबंधी प्रस्ताव को मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन ने स्वीकृति दे दी. इस प्रस्ताव के पास हो जाने के बाद एएचटीयू का गठन होगा. एएचटीयू अवैध मानव व्यापार की रोकथाम के लिए काम करेगा. मानव तस्करी के शिकार लोगों की रक्षा एवं उससे जुड़े मामलों की जांच और अपराध एवं अपराधियों/ गिरोहों से संबंधित पूरा ब्योरा तैयार करेगा.
केंद्र सरकार के निर्देशों के तहत राज्य के सभी जिलों में एंटी ह्यूमन ट्रैफिकिंग यूनिट (एएचटीयू) का गठन किया जाना है. इस सिलसिले में राजधानी रांची, खूंटी, सिमडेगा, लोहरदगा, गुमला, पलामू, चाईबासा तथा दुमका जिले में एएचटीयू थाने कार्यरत हैं. शेष 12 जिलों में इसे खोलने की प्रक्रिया तेजी से चल रही है.
