भभुआ (कैमूर)–सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल महाविद्यालय भभुआ के राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के तत्वाधान वन महोत्सव सप्ताह का उदघाटन हुआ जिसमे मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में वन विभाग से जिला सहयक वन संरक्षक श्री राज कुमार शर्मा, भभुआ रेंज अफसर श्री अरुण प्रसाद एवं देवेश तिवारी ने सहभागिता किया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता प्राचार्य डॉ सीतारमण पांडेय, संचालन कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी डॉ सीमा पटेल एवं धन्यवाद ज्ञापन डॉ बसंता ने किया।
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत दीप प्रज्वलवन से हुआ और संबोधन पश्चात वन विभाग द्वारा दिये गए 130 पेड़ो में से कुछ पेड़ो के वृक्षारोपण से हुआ। राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के स्वयंसेवको ने एक दिन पूर्व ही वृक्षो के लिए गढ़े खोद लिए थे। वृक्षो को वर्मीकम्पोस्ट एवं दीमक नाशक दवा मिलाकर उन्हें लगाया गया और प्रत्येक पेड़ को महाविद्यालय के छात्र एवं कर्मी द्वारा उसका उत्तरदायित्व लिया गया। कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी ने सभी से आग्रह किया कि अपने दिवंगत सगे संबंधियों के नाम से एक पेड़ लगाकर और उसे गोद लेकर उनकी स्मृति सदैव जीवित रखे ।प्राचार्य ने प्रेरित किया कि वृक्षों से वायुमंडल में ऑक्सीजन की मात्रा में वृद्धि होगी जो जनउपयोगी होगा।वन पदाधिकारी यो ने कृषि वनयिकी, छात्र सुविधा के तहत योजनाओं को साझा किया।छात्रों को अपने महाविद्यालय पहचान पत्र से जिला के किसी भी सरकारी पौधशाला से 3 वृक्ष मुफ्त मिल सकते है। कृषि वनयिकी के तहत अपने निजी जमीन की रसीद, आधार, लगा कर किस प्रजाति के कितने पेड़ चाहिए,फार्म भर कर एवं प्रत्येक पेड़ 10 रुपये राशि जमा करना होगा। 3 वर्ष पश्चात,सर्वेक्षण करने पर प्रत्येक जिंदा पेड़ 60 रुपये वापस मिलेंगे। बिहार में कैमुर के वन एक अहम भूमीका निभाते है और इसमें कई विलुप्त प्रजाति के वनस्पति एवं जानवर भी है जिन्हें बचने का हमारा परम कर्तव्य है। राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजनाकार्यक्रम में स्वयंसेवक अनूप पटेल, अदिति,अंशिका, मौसम, शिवम,मधुराज, लक्ष्मी, विवेकानंद पटेल, एवं अन्य कई, शिक्षक डॉ सोनल, डॉ राजकुमार,डॉ सीमा सिंह, सुमित कुमार राय,डॉ अन्नपूर्णा गुप्ता, डॉ नेयाज अहमद सिद्दिकी, माया सिंनहा,डॉ रवनिष प्रसाद, डॉ हरेंद्र सिंह, डॉ धनंजय प्रसाद एवं अन्य की सहभागिता रही।
