स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा विश्व उच्च रक्तचाप दिवस पर स्थानीय नागरिक अस्पताल में स्वास्थ्य जांच कैंप का आयोजन किया गया। स्वास्थ्य कैंप में आने वाले मरीजों के रक्तचाप, शुगर आदि जांच की गयी।
सिविल सर्जन डा. मनीष बांसल ने बताया कि उच्च रक्त चाप के रोगियों को दिल का दौरा, स्ट्रोक, किडनी फेल, अंधापन आदि बीमारियां होने का खतरा सबसे अधिक होता है, किन्तु व्यक्ति अपना वजन नियंत्रित कर, व्यायाम से, पौष्टिक भोजन (जिसमें वसा, नमक व तले पदार्थ कम हो) से उच्च रक्तचाप होने की संभावना को कम किया जा सकता है। उन्होंने बताया कि उच्च रक्तचाप के रोगियों को कोरोना से बचाव के लिए विशेष सावधानियां बरतने की जरूरत होती है ।
डिप्टी सिविल सर्जन (एनसीडी) डा. विपुल गुप्ता ने उच्च रक्तचाप से संबंधित बीमारियों के बारे में जागरूक करते हुए बताया कि उच्च रक्तचाप के रोगी ई-संजीवनी एप के माध्यम से भी वर्चुअल रुप में चिकित्सकों से सलाह लेकर अपना उपचार करवा सकते है।
