जब भी समाज में गतिरुद्धता आ जाती है, जब भी समाज में तेज़ी से विषमता और उत्पीड़न बढ़ता जाता है और समाज को नए रास्ते की तलाश होती है, वैसे समय में कोई न कोई श्रेष्ठतम मानवीय गुणो और बेहतर मानवीय दृष्टि समाज को नई राह दिखाने के लिए आ ही जाती है। ऐसी ही एक शख्सियत हैं सीमा शर्मा। आज अपने क्षेत्र में यह किसी भी परिचय का मोहताज नहीं हैं।
बहुत ही साधारण मध्यवर्गीय परिवार में जन्मीं सीमा शर्मा की प्रतिभा बचपन में ही निखर गई थी। उनके पिता ने भी अपनी पुत्री को काफी प्रोत्साहित किया। दुर्भाग्य कि इनकी पढ़ाई का सिलसिला बहुत आगे नहीं बढ़ पाया। दसवीं तक की पढ़ाई के बाद भी सीमा शर्मा की सबसे ज्यादा रुचि समाज की विषमताओं को दूर करने में रही।
इनके पिता सेना में थे और कहीं न कहीं विषम परिस्थितियों में जूझने और उससे निकालने की प्रेरणा इन्हें अपने पिता से ही मिली।
आसान नहीं रहा रास्ता
परिवार की जिम्मेदारियों को समहालते हुए समाज की जिम्मेदारियों का निर्वहन करना बहुत चलेंजिंग काम रहा। लेकिन सीमा शर्मा समाज के सबसे गरीब तबके के उत्थान करने, उनके सेवा करने और तमाम सरकारी और गैर सरकारी योजनाओं को सबसे वंचित शोषित और उत्पीड़ित समाज तक पहुंचाने का काम किया। आज अनुसूचित जाति जनजाति के लोगों के लिए स्वरोजगार के लिए हर संभव मदद देने और दिलवाने, युवाओं को विभिन्न कंपनियों में रोजगार दिलाने तथा ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों की महिलाओं को स्वयं सहायता समूह में जोड़कर आर्थिक रूप से आत्मनिर्भर बनाने का काम किया। लेकिन यह सब करते हुए घर और समाज में काफी संघर्ष करना पड़ा। ढेरों ताने सुनने पड़े, कई बार लोगों ने हतोत्साहित करने की भी कोशिश लोगों ने की।
गायन और शास्त्रीय संगीत में भी पारंगत
सीमा शर्मा सामाजिक रूप से सक्रिय तो रहती रहती हैं, भोजपूरी भाषा सहित उत्तर प्रदेश की स्थानीय बोलियों और लोकसंकृति में विशेष रुचि है और बेहतरीन गायिका हैं। इनके कई गाये गाने विभिन्न भोजपूरी फिल्मों में सुनने को मिल जाएँगे। इन्होंने ना केवल शास्त्रीय संगीत को नया आयाम दिया बल्कि स्थानीय उभरते गायकों कौर कलाकारों को भी आगे बढ्ने के लिए प्रेरित भी किया और उन्हें आगे भी बढ़ाया। लोग बताते हैं कि फिल्मी हीरो, गायक और राजनीतिज्ञ मनोज तिवारी भी इनसे ही सीख कर बेहतरीन कलाकार बन पाये।
अभी फिलहाल सीमा शर्मा बहुजन समाज की महत्वपूर्ण कार्यकर्ता हैं और आने वाले विधान सभा चुनाओं में इनकी प्रत्याशी बनाने की दावेदारी प्रमुखता से उभर कर आ रही है। एक महिला होने के नाते महिला मुद्दों पर इनका गहरा अनुभव भी है। गाजीपुर के जंगीपुर विधान सभा से श्रीमति सीमा शर्मा की दावेदारी पर लोगों से बात करते हुए पता लगा कि इनकी लोकप्रियता घर घर में है। यहाँ की महिलाओं में इनकी उम्मीदवारी को लेकर काफी उत्साह देखने को मिल रहा है।
उम्मीद है एक सुरों की मिठास समाज में बिखेरने वाली सीमा शर्मा आने वाले चुनाव में यहाँ की जनता के दिलों में भी मिठास घोल पाएँगी।
