हिमाचल में हर्षोल्लास उल्लास से लोगों ने मनाई ईद गले मिलकर एक दूसरे को दी बधाई:- देशभर के साथ हिमाचल प्रदेश मैं भी ईद उल आदहा का त्यौहार हर्षोल्लास से मनाया गया हिमाचल के हर जिले और राजधानी शिमला के ईदगाह में भी ईद की नवाज अदा की और अमन शांति की दुआ मांगी लोगों ने एक दूसरे के गले लगकर ईद की बधाई दी शिमला शहर में ईदगाह जमा मस्जिद सहित छोटा शिमला कुतुब मस्जिद संजौली में हजारों मुस्लिम समुदाय के लोगों ने ईद की नमाज अदा की उन्होंने बताया कि अल्लाह को खुश करने के लिए ईद पर कुर्बानी दी जाती है ईद पर लोग सब गिले-शिकवे भूलकर एक दूसरे से मिलते हैं और लोगों को एक साथ रहने का संदेश भी देते हैं सिरमौर के जिला मुख्यालय नहान के कच्चा टैंक स्थित जामा मस्जिद में शहर व आसपास के गांव के सैकड़ों लोगों ने ईद की नमाज अदा की हालाकी नवाज ईदगाह ग्राउंड में प्रस्तावित थी परंतु मौसम खराब होने की वजह से नवाज शहर की अन्य मस्जिदों में 8:00 से 8:30 तक जबकि जमा मस्जिद नहान में ईद की नवाज 8:30 बजे से 9:00 बजे तक अदा कराई इस्लाम धर्म में इस त्यौहार का बहुत ज्यादा महत्व है बकरीद त्योहार हर साल इस्लामिक कैलेंडर के अनुसार जू अल हजा महीने के दसवें दिन मनाया जाता है यह त्यौहार मुसलमानों का सबसे पवित्र त्यौहार मनाया जाता है बकरीद के दिन जानवरों की कुर्बानी की परंपरा है मुसलमान इस दिन अल सुबह की नवाज पढ़ते हैं और खुद की इबादत में चौपाई जानवरों की कुर्बानी देते हैं
