अखिलेश यादव ने आजादी के 75वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर देशवासियों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि भारत को आजादी महात्मा गांधी के नेतृत्व में अनगिनत स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानियों के त्याग और बलिदान के फलस्वरूप मिली है। इस आजादी की सुरक्षा में देशवासियों को आपसी भाईचारा और सामाजिक सौहार्द को बनाए रखना होगा। लोकतंत्र को सशक्त करने और स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के मूल्यों को जीवित रखने की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने सभी से समाजवादी, धर्मनिरपेक्ष और लोकतांत्रिक भारत के निर्माण में योगदान की अपील की है।

अखिलेश यादव ने कहा है कि हम सब समाजवादी 9 से 15 अगस्त 2022 तक घर-घर तिरंगा अभियान में भागीदारी कर रहे है। राष्ट्रीय ध्वज हमारे गौरव का प्रतीक है।
