मध्यप्रदेश के आंगनबाडियों में बच्चों को पौष्टिक आहार के तौर पर अंडे दिए जाने पर मचे बवाल को शांत करने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान सामने आए। शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि कुपोषण को खत्म करने के लिए आंगनबाड़ियों में बच्चों को अंडे नहीं बल्कि दूध बांटा जाएगा। मध्यप्रदेश की महिला और बाल विकास मंत्री इमरती देवी की ओर से प्रदेश की आंगनबाड़ियों में बच्चों को पौष्टिक आहार के रूप में अंडे दिए जाने की वकालत की गई थी, जिसके बाद प्रदेश में बवाल मच गया था। चौहान ने कहा कि कुपोषण दूर करने के लिए आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों में अंडा नहीं, बल्कि दूध बांटा जाएगा और इसकी शुरुआत 17 सितंबर को होगी। वहीं, मध्यप्रदेश जनसंपर्क विभाग के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि प्रदेश में 16 से 23 सितंबर तक गरीब कल्याण सप्ताह मनाया जा रहा है। गरीब कल्याण सप्ताह के तहत प्रत्येक दिन अलग-अलग विभागों से संबंधित कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि शुक्रवार 17 सितंबर महिला और बाल विकास विभाग के लिए निर्धारित है। इस दिन मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान जिलों में चिन्हाकिंत नवनिर्मित 601 ऑगनबाड़ी भवनों का डिजिटल तरीके से लोकार्पण सिंगल क्लिक के माध्यम से करेंगे और आंगनबाड़ी स्तर पर कुपोषित बच्चों को दूध वितरण किया जाएगा। मालूम हो कि ग्वालियर में करीब दो सप्ताह पहले मध्यप्रदेश की महिला और बाल विकास मंत्री इमरती देवी ने कहा था कि कुपोषण मिटाने के लिए आंगनबाड़ी में अंडे उन बच्चों को परोसे जाएंगे, जो इसका विकल्प चुनेंगे। उन्होंने कहा था कि सेब और केला जैसे फल भी उन बच्चों को दिए जाएंगे जो इनका विकल्प चुनेंगे।
