मुख्यमंत्री की इस घोषणा के बाद पीएम सम्मान निधिन योजना के लाभार्थी राज्य के 80 लाख किसानों को अब सालाना 10 हजार रुपए की सहायता मिलेगी। केंद्र सरकार की ओर से किसानों को सालाना छह हजार रुपए दिए जाते हैं और राज्य सरकार सालाना 4 हजार रुपए देगी। केंद्र सरकार की ओर से 2 हजार रुपए की तीन किस्तें किसानों को दी जाती हैं, जबकि राज्य सरकार हर छह महीने पर 2 हजार रुपए उनके बैंक खातों में भेजेगी।
भोपाल में किसानों के लिए आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा, ”मध्य प्रदेश में मुख्यमंत्री किसान कल्याण योजना की शुरुआत की जा रही है। इस योजना के तहत पीएम किसान सम्मान निधि योजना के लाभार्थियों को दो किस्तों में सालाना 4 हजार रुपए दिए जाएंगे।”
उन्होंने कहा, ”हमने फैसला किया है कि किसानों के लिए सभी योजनाओं को जैसे रेवेन्यू सर्कुलर बुक के तहत राहत, पीएम किसान सम्मान निधि, 0 फीसदी ब्याज पर लोन, प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना आदि को एक पैकेज के रूप में लागू किया जाएगा, ताकि किसानों का संपूर्ण विकास हो सके।”
