स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानी, गोवा मुक्ति आंदोलन के प्रणेता, शोषितों व वंचितों के मुखर स्वर, संसदीय राजनीति व समाजवादी धारा के मर्मज्ञ, ओजस्वी वक्ता मधु लिमये की जन्मशती वर्ष पर आयोजित होने वाले विविध आयोजनों की एक केन्द्रीय समिति का गठन किया गया। जिसके अर्न्तगत 01 मई को मधु लिमये की जयन्ती पर जनपद बाराबंकी के गांधी भवन में पहला समाजवादी सम्मेलन आयोजित किया जाएगा। यह जानकारी वरिष्ठ सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता एवं मीडिया सलाहकार रिज़वान रज़ा ने दी।
उन्होंने बताया कि राज्यसभा के उपसभापति हरिवंश नारायण सिंह, इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय कला केंद्र, नई दिल्ली के अध्यक्ष एवं वरिष्ठ पत्रकार रामबहादुर राय एवं समाजवादी चिन्तक रघु ठाकुर के मार्गदर्शन में स्व. मधु लिमये जन्मशताब्दी वर्ष समारोह समिति का गठन किया गया है। इस केन्द्रीय समिति का अध्यक्ष गांधीवादी राजनाथ शर्मा को बनाया गया। वहीं अरूण प्रताप सिंह (दिल्ली) को समिति का सचिव मनोनीत किया गया।
इसके अलावा पूर्व केन्द्रीय मंत्री स्व. जार्ज फर्नांडिस की पत्नी लैला फर्नांडिस (दिल्ली), रवि वर्मा कुमार सीनियर एडवोकेट (बैंगलोर), शेखर नेफड़े सीनियर एडवोकेट (दिल्ली), माइकल फर्नांडिस (बैंगलौर), राजकुमार जैन (दिल्ली), बद्री नारायण सिंह एडवोकेट (पटना), एस.एस. नेहरा एडवोकेट (दिल्ली), सुभाष मलगी (मुम्बई), विकास देशपांडे (पुणे), सुरेश अग्रवाल (नागपुर), संदीप पांडे (लखनऊ), जयन्त तोमर (ग्वालियर), प्रो. गोपेश्वर सिंह (पटना), शोभन (दिल्ली), बिंदेश्वरी पटेल (कटनी), अजय तिवारी पत्रकार (दिल्ली), टी. गोपाल सिंह (हैदराबाद), नूर अहमद (कलकत्ता), संजीव पुजारी (मुम्बई), अनिल ठाकुर (दिल्ली), प्रभाष यादव एडवोकेट (दिल्ली) को समिति का सदस्य मनोनीत किया गया।
श्री रज़ा ने बताया कि 01 मई से शुरू होने वाला मधु लिमये जन्मशताब्दी वर्ष समारोह की शुरूआत बाराबंकी से होगी। इसके बाद उत्तर प्रदेश के कई जनपदों के अलावा देश के कई राज्यों में समारोह का आयोजन कर समाजवादी आन्दोलन से युवा पीढ़ी को जोड़ने का काम किया जाएगा। इस अवसर पर मधु लिमये के जीवन और विचार को लेकर एक स्मारिका भी प्रकाशित की जाएगी। स्मारिका का संपादन रघु ठाकुर करेंगे।
