 भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा 2019 लोकसभा सामान्य निर्वाचन की घोषणा करते ही देश में आचार संहिता  लागू कर है। साथ ही सभी राजनितिक पार्टीयों और निर्वाचन सम्बन्धी अधिकारियों को दिशा निर्देश जारी किये है। जिसके बाद  कानपुर देहात का प्रशासन हरकत में आ गया हैं और जनपद के सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर राजनैतिक पार्टीयो के लगे पोस्टरों , बैनरों और होर्डिंगों को हटाने का कार्य तेजी से शुरू कर दिया हैं। इसके तहत कानपुर देहात के जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी राकेश कुमार सिंह ने अपनी निगरानी में  जिला मुख्यालय में लगे सभी राजनैतिक पार्टीयों के होर्डिंगों बैनरों और पोस्टरों को हटवाया। साथ ही उन्होने जनपद के समस्त उप जिलाधिकारियों को अपने क्षेत्रों के सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर लगे राजनैतिक पार्टीयों के होर्डिंगों, बैनरों और पोस्टरों को युद्व स्तर पर हटवाने के निर्देश दिये। साथ ही उन्होने आदर्श आचार संहिता का कडाई से अनुपालन कराने तथा उल्लघंन करने वाले लोगो के खिलाफ कठोर कार्यवाही करने के भी निर्देश उप जिलाधिकारियों को दिये।जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी के साथ पुलिस अधीक्षक राधेश्याम और निर्वाचन सम्बन्धी जिला स्तरीय अधिकारी, समस्त एसडीएम मौजूद रहे।
