कोटा। नगर निगम द्वारा सर्दी के मौसम मे आश्रय विहीन व्यक्तियों को रात्रि मे आश्रय पाने हेतु शहर मे संचालित किये जा रहे निगम के स्थाई व अस्थाई रेन-बसेरों की व्यवस्थाओं को और अधिक सुचारू व उपयोगी बनाने के लिए और अधिक प्रयास किये जा रहे है।
नगर निगम आयुक्त जुगल किशोर मीना ने बताया कि इसके लिए स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी सतीश मीना व एनयूएलएम प्रबंधक हेमलता गांधी की अगुवाई मे एक दल गठित किया गया है। जिसके द्वारा निगम के आश्रय स्थलों की व्यवस्थाओं के निरीक्षण के साथ-साथ शहर मे दौरा किया जायेगा और खुले मे सोने वाले लोगों को समझाइश कर निगम के रेन-बसेरों मे पहुंचाया जायेगा ताकि वो सर्दी से सुरक्षित रहकर चेन से रात्रि विश्राम कर सकें। आयुक्त ने बताया कि जिन क्षेत्रों मे आश्रय विहीन रात्रि विश्राम करने वालों की संख्या अधिक पाई जायेगी वहां उसके निकटस्थ आश्रय स्थल का स्थान व अन्य सभी सुविधाएंे बढा दी जायेगी।
आयुक्त ने बताया कि निगम द्वारा शहर मे 8 आश्रय स्थल संचालित किये जा रहे है। जिनमे 4 स्थाई आश्रय स्थल जो कि नयापुरा बस स्टेण्ड, एमबीएस अस्पताल परिसर, रंगबाडी रोड स्थित न्यू मेडिकल काॅलेज व भीमगंज मण्डी सेक्टर कार्यालय परिसर मे संचालित है तथा 4 अस्थाई आश्रय स्थल जो कि आर्य समाज रोड स्थित हिन्दू धर्मशाला मे, दशहरा मैदान स्थित तुलसी माता मन्दिर के पास, सूरजपोल के निगम सेक्टर कार्यालय मे तथा नाग-नागिन मन्दिर के आगे नहर के पास फ्लाई ओवर के नीचे संचालित है।
उन्होंने बताया कि इन सभी आठों आश्रय स्थलों मे सर्दी से बचाव के लिए रजाई, गद्दे, तकिये तथा तापने के लिए लकडियों की व्यवस्था की गई है।
आश्रय स्थलों के समीप स्थित सुलभ शौचालयों मे निशुल्क शौचालय के उपयोग की व्यवस्था की गई है। आश्रय स्थलों मे ठहरने वाले लोगो का प्रत्येक 15 दिन मे चिकित्सकों द्वारा स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण कराया जायेगा। शहर का कोई भी आश्रय विहीन व्यक्ति इन आश्रय स्थलों मे रात्रि विश्राम कर सकता है।
आयुक्त ने बताया कि इन आश्रय स्थलों मे रोशनी, पेयजल व्यवस्था व तापने के लिए लकडियां, टेन्ट, बिस्तर आदि तथा सफाई व्यवस्था के लिए प्रभारी व सहायक प्रभारी नियुक्त किये गये है। आश्रय स्थलों मे रात्रि मे ठहरने वाले व्यक्तियों के नाम व अन्य जानकारी रजिस्टर मे संधारित करने के लिए कर्मचारी भी नियुक्त हैं।

नगर निगम आयुक्त जुगल किशोर मीना ने सोमवार की रात नाग-नागिन मन्दिर के पास फ्लाई ओवर के नीचे स्थित निगम के आश्रय स्थल का निरीक्षण किया और व्यवस्थाओं की समीक्षा की। उन्होने वहां सो रहे लोगो से व्यवस्थाओं के संबंध मे बात की और सुविधाओं के संबंध मे जानकारी ली। साथ ही उन्होने आश्रय स्थल मे विश्राम पाने वाले लोगो की जानकारी के संधारण रजिस्टर की भी जांच की।
