कृषि बिलों को लेकर संसद से उच्च सदन राज्यसभा में रविवार को विपक्ष के जोरदार हंगामे पर रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा है कि यह सिर्फ ‘किसानों को भ्रमित करने की कोशिश’ थी। उनके मुताबिक, “मैं भी किसान हूं। ऐसे में मैं ऐसा बिल्कुल भी सोच सकते हैं कि सरकार किसी भी सूरत में अन्नदाताओं का अहित करेगी।” उन्होंने ये बातें कैबिनेट के पांच साथियों के साथ एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस से ठीक पहले कहीं, जिसमें राज्यसभा में हंगामे को लेकर सरकार की ओर से कृषि बिल पर चीजें स्पष्ट की गईं और विपक्ष पर निशाना साधा गया।
सिंह बोले, “चलिए, मान लेते हैं कि वे (विपक्षी दल, जिनकी सुनी नहीं जा रही थी) जो कह रहे हैं। सही कह रहे हैं, पर क्या तब भी हिंसक तरीके से या फिर कुर्सी से कूद कर या माइक तोड़ना उचित है?” बकौल राजनाथ, “उपसभापति के साथ किया गया दुर्व्यवहार दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण था। उनकी कुर्सी के पास बढ़ना, रूल बुक को फाड़ना, राज्यसभा या लोकसभा के इतिहास में ऐसी स्थिति कभी नहीं रही।” मंत्री ने आगे कहा, “उनके व्यवहार से संसद की गरिमा को ठेस पहुंची है और यह उनके लिए खुद का एक आईना है।”
जारी रहेगी MSP- राजनाथः सिंह ने कहा, “मैं किसानों को आश्वस्त करना चाहता हूं कि न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य तथा विपणन समिति जारी रहेगी। इसे किसी भी कीमत पर हटाया नहीं जा सकता है।” रक्षा मंत्री के अलावा प्रकाश जावड़ेकर, प्रह्लाद जोशी, पीयूष गोयल, थाावरचंद गहलोत और मुख्तार अब्बास नकवी ने भी प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान विपक्षी दलों के राज्यसभा सदस्यों पर जमकर हमला बोला। इस दौरान सिंह ने कहा कि एक स्वस्थ लोकतंत्र में ऐसे रवैये की उम्मीद नहीं की जा सकती है।(UNA)
