New Delhi, प्रख्यात पत्रकार माणिकचंद्र वाजपेयी पर एकाग्र पुस्तक ‘शब्दपुरुष: माणिकचंद्र वाजपेयी’ का लोकार्पण बुधवार को इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय कला केंद्र, नई दिल्ली में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सरसंघचालक डॉ. मोहनराव भागवत और केंद्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने किया। पुस्तक का प्रकाशन प्रभात प्रकाशन एवं कला केंद्र ने संयुक्त रूप से किया है।
कार्यक्रम में हरियाणा के पूर्व राज्यपाल प्रो. कप्तान सिंह सोलंकी, वरिष्ठ पत्रकार राम बहादुर राय और प्रभात प्रकाशन के प्रबंध संपादक प्रभात कुमार भी मौजूद थे। पुस्तक का संपादन इंदिरा कला केंद्र के सदस्य सचिव सच्चिदानंद जोशी और भारतीय जनसंचार संस्थान के महानिदेशक प्रो.संजय द्विवेदी ने किया है।
पुस्तक में ‘मामाजी’ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध माणिकचंद्र वाजपेयी के जीवन और पत्रकारिता पर लेखकों ने अपने विचार व्यक्त किए हैं। इसके अलावा ‘मामाजी’ के द्वारा लिखे गए चुनिंदा लेखों का संकलन भी इस किताब में है।
इस संबंध में डॉ. सच्चिदानंद जोशी ने बताया कि माणिकचंद्र वाजपेयी के लेखों के माध्यम से इस पुस्तक में ये बताने की कोशिश की गई है, कि ‘मामाजी’ ने मीडिया में जिन मूल्यों की बात की थी, वे आज भी प्रासंगिक हैं और मीडिया को उन्हें व्यवहार में उतारना चाहिए।
‘मामाजी’ ने पत्रकारिता में मूल्यों को समझा था और कहा था कि मीडिया को लोक कल्याण और जनसरोकार से दूर नहीं होना चाहिए। उन्होंने कि मामा जी पत्रकारिता में राष्ट्रीय भावधारा के संवाहक थे। दिल्ली में यह आयोजन उनके जन्मशताब्दी का समापन आयोजन था। इसके पूर्व देश के अनेक नगरों में उनकी शताब्दी पर कई कार्यक्रम और विमर्श आयोजित किए गए।(UNA)
