राजस्थान के जालोर में छात्र इंद्र मेघवाल की पिटाई और मौत के मामले पर राष्ट्रीय नागरिक पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष कृष्ण कुमार गौतम ने राजस्थान के राज्यपाल को ज्ञापन भेज कर पीड़ित परिवार को न्याय दिलाने और राज्य में संगीन अपराधिक घटनाक्रम पर रोक लगाने की मांग की है। गौतम ने अपने ज्ञापन में लिखा गया है कि, इस प्रकार के संगीन अपराधिक घटनाक्रम में सम्मलित दोषी को कठोर से कठोर सजा मिले, ताकि भविष्य में कोई मुह न निकाल पाए। साथ ही राजस्थान को ऐसे अमानवीय क्रूर अपराधिक घटनाओं से मुक्त करने के पुख्ता इंतजाम किए जाए ताकि प्रदेश की छवि धूमिल न हो और राज्य विकास की ओर अग्रसर हो।
गौरतलब है कि राजस्थान के जालौर जिले में सायल तहसील के अन्तर्गत सुराणा गांव का सामाजिक, आर्थिक और राजनैतिक न्याय से वंचित परिवार का तीसरी कक्षा में पढ़ने वाले 9 साल का छात्र इंद्र मेघवाल की सरस्वती शिशु विद्यामंदिर स्कूल के प्रधान शिक्षक द्वारा पिटाई के बाद उसकी मौत हो गयी थी। स्कूल के हेडमास्टर ने 20 जुलाई 2022 को छात्र को बुरी तरह से पीटा था, जिससे छात्र के कान और आँख में गम्भीर चोटें आई थी। इसके बाद परिवार वालों ने बच्चे का अलग-अलग अस्पताल में इलाज कराया, लेकिन तमाम प्रयासों के बावजूद बच्चे को बचाया नहीं जा सका। आखिरकार 13 अगस्त को अहमदाबाद के एक अस्पताल में बच्चे ने दम तोड़ दिया। इस प्रकार के संगीन अपराधिक घटनाओं के कारण राज्य और देश की छवि खराब होती है और विदेशों में भारत व भारतीय नागरिकों को शर्मिन्दगी उठानी पड़ती है।
परिजनों का आरोप है कि मटके से पानी पीने के चलते शिक्षक ने बच्चे को पीटा था। सिर्फ उस मटके का पानी वही शिक्षक पीता था, जिसने बच्चे को पीटा था। बच्चे को प्यास बर्दाश्त नही होने के कारण उसने उस मटके से पानी पी लिया था।
गौतम ने कहा, देश में बालश्रम,नारी उत्पीड़न, सामाजिक, आर्थिक और राजनैतिक न्याय से वंचित समाज के लिए यह अकेली घटना नहीं है। चाहे महाराष्ट्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, झारखंड हो या बिहार देश का कोई राज्य ऐसा जहां जहा इस तरह की घटनाओं के होने की खबर सुनने को न मिलता हो। इन सब घटनाओं के पीछे विधायिका, कार्यपालिका में बैठे वे नागरिक जिनकी सोच किसी व्यक्ति विशेष की विचारधारा,धर्म और समुदाय पर केंद्रित है, उनके इशारे पर ऐसी घटनाओं को अंजाम दिया जाता है। यही कारण है कि नियम कानून स्पष्ट होने के बाद भी जांच एजेंसी ठीक प्रकार से कार्यवाई करने की बजाय संगीन अपराधिक घटना को दबाने की कोशिश करती है। और ऐसा करना अगली किसी अपराधिक घटना को न्योता देना होता है। आखिर यह सिलसिला कब तक चलता रहेगा?
