राज्य सरकार की ओर से सरपंचों के अधिकारों को ई-टेंडरिंग के आधार पर सीमित करने के विरोधस्वरूप शुक्रवार को सरपंच एसोसिएशन जिला सिरसा के अध्यक्ष जसकरण कंग व उपाध्यक्ष संतोष बेनीवाल के नेतृत्व में एसोसिएशन के करीब 150 से अधिक सरपंचों ने ऐलनाबाद के विधायक अभय सिंह चौटाला से मिलकर उन्हें ज्ञापन सौंपा और प्रदेश की मौजूदा गठबंधन सरकार के खिलाफ जोरदार नारेबाजी की। डबवाली रोड स्थित अपने आवास पर उपस्थित सरपंचों से ज्ञापन लेेने के अवसर पर इनेलो विधायक अभय सिंह चौटाला ने सरपंचों की मांगों का समर्थन करते हुए उन्हें आश्वस्त किया वे पहले ही दिन से सरपंचों के अधिकारों में ई-टेंडरिंग के माध्यम से कटौती करने के खिलाफ थे और सरपंचों के समर्थन में आवाज उठा चुके हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि एक बार फिर वे हरियाणा विधानसभा में सरपंचों के अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए जोरदार तरीके से आवाज उठाएंगे। अभय सिंह चौटाला ने कहा कि सरपंच एसोसिएशन ने बीते दिवस जिस मंत्री को इस सिलसिले में अपना ज्ञापन सौंपा है, उन्हीं के पास यह विभाग है। यदि वे मंत्री सरपंचों के अधिकारों की रक्षा करने का आश्वासन देते हैं तो उन्हें पहले ही यह नियम लागू नहीं होने देना चाहिए था। इनेलो नेता ने कहा कि प्रदेश में जब इनेलो की सरकार थी तो तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री ओमप्रकाश चौटाला स्वयं प्रदेश के हर गांवों में पहुंचकर संबंधित सरपंचों से गांव के विकास के लिए विचार कर उन्हें करोड़ों रुपए की ग्रांट देते थे।

उन्होंने कहा कि वे इस सिलसिले में राज्य सरकार को सरपंचों के समर्थन में चिट्टी लिख चुके हैं। विधायक अभय सिंह चौटाला ने सरकार से इस अवसर पर पूछा कि जब उनका खजाना भरा है तो ग्राम विकास से संबंधित कदमों पर अंकुश क्यों लगाया जा रहा है? विधायक ने कहा कि सरपंचों के अधिकारों पर डाका डाला जाना उन्हें मंजूर नहीं है और ई-टेंडरिंग प्रणाली के माध्यम से मंत्री स्तर के लोग भी कमीशन पाने का रास्ता ढूंढ रहे हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि यदि सरकार को इस बात की आशंका है कि सरपंच विकास कार्यों के लिए भेजे जाने वाले धन का दुरुपयोग करेंगे तो सरकार के पास उनकी जांच करवाने का भी अधिकार है। इनेलो विधायक ने पूछा कि जब सरपंचों के चुनाव नहीं हुए थे और उस दौरान गांवों के विकास के लिए डाली गई धनराशि का हिसाब कहां है?

उन्होंने सभी सरपंचों से आह्वान किया कि वे शीघ्र ही प्रदेश स्तरीय पदयात्रा आरंभ करेंगे जिसमें वे पिछले 8 सालों के दौरान गठबंधन सरकार की गलत नीतियों व कारगुजारियों को प्रदेशवासियों के समक्ष उजागर करेंगे। उन्होंने सभी सरपंचों को इस पदयात्रा में शामिल होने का भी न्यौता दिया। इस अवसर पर इनेलो जिलाध्यक्ष कश्मीर सिंह करीवाला, संदीप चौधरी, रणधीर जोधकां व इनेलो जिला प्रेस प्रवक्ता महावीर शर्मा भी मौजूद थे।
