Uttar Pradesh; जौनपुर शहर कोतवाली क्षेत्र के बड़ी मस्जिद के पीछे मोहल्ला रौज़ा अर्जन में देर रात जर्जर तीन मंजिला मकान धराशाई हो गया। इस दौरान एक दर्जन लोग मलबे में दब गए। जानकारी होने के बाद स्थानीय लोग व पुलिस प्रशासन राहत कार्य में जुट गया।घटना मे पांच लोगों की मौत और छह लोगों के घायल होने की जानकारी मिला है । हालांकि, इसके बाद भी मलबे की तलाश की जा रही हैl घायलों की हालत चिंताजनक बनी हुई है। अस्पताल में चिकित्सकों को भी अलर्ट कर दिया गया है।
सबसे पहले तीन लोगों को निकालकर जिला अस्पताल भेजा गया।

हादसा होने के बाद जानकारी होते ही पुलिस और फायर ब्रिगेड के कर्मचारी मौके पर पहुंचे और राहत व बचाव कार्य शुरू किया। कई लोगों के रात में दबे होने की वजह से आधी रात के बाद भी राहत और बचाव कार्य चलता रहा। प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों की देखरेख में पूरा राहत अभियान चल रहा है। लोगों के फंसे होने की आशंका में राहत व बचाव कर्मी सम्भलकर कदम मलबे पर उठा रहे हैं। प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों के अनुसार आधी रात के बाद पूरी तसल्ली होने के बाद ही अभियान खत्म किया जाएगा।
